My condolences to Art, Jr & family.  Joann will truly be missed, as I mentioned she was a very good friend  Only sorry we didn't stay in touch.  I am extremely sorry that I will not be able to make the services, I am not driving since I have cancer & on heavy medication.  My heart & memories will be with her and the family always
Art, I have found memories of when we were neighbors, car club, Gary & Lisa on their big wheels racing around the corner with Jody.  One thing I will never forget is when we were neighbors, Jr was always with me but when I became pregnant w/Andrea he wouldn't get near me  He would scream, Joann said, it's because you're going to have a girl  After her birth he was back to normal  LOL   I treasure the friendship and bond that Joann and I had. I have beautiful memories and know that all I have to do is close my eyes and think back to the wonderful times we shared.   I hope that you can contact me via e-mail.  And know my thoughts and prayers are with you always   Love, Rita

Joanne
I am sending my condolences to Art and Jr.
My heart is broken My dear friend has left. I expected to travel with you during your retirement as we planned. We had some wonderful memories
as the three stooges with Amanda( the China) You were always our leader and you lead us in the right direction. We Love you and will continue where we left off when we are together again. Rest now and we will see you soon.
Love Rita Armendariz

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. I have such fond memories from the very first time I met here at "The Corner Store"..she always had a smile and up to enjoying life.  Summer time she would get some of the vendors to "donate" items for our beach parties.  And they would! Shopping was her greatest pleasure along with enjoying her friends.  And that she was. "A good friend"  I will always have her in my heart, even if we lost touch for many years there wasn't a time where I wouldn't think of those special days.
Gather strength from those around you  Though you feel like letting go, let God's loving arms surround you
He loves you, so know that others feel like you do  Feel the sadness and the pain  Memories will feel your heart with joy, don't ever feel alone again
