Passed away on May 11, 2011 after 55 years of service
Roy Brown entered the funeral business early on in his career, at the time learning every aspect of the funeral industry from his father and predecessor, Harold R. Brown. A Member of the Order of the Golden Rule, Funeral Directors of America and Kiwanis club, among others, Roy truly serves each and every family by the Golden Rule, and instills this same philosophy in each and every staff member.
Upon his return to Santa Ana after serving nearly three years in the Peace Corps in Honduras, Gerran soon realized he was the only son of the "Four Brown Boys" interested in joining his father at the Mortuary, and could put his communications skills with his fluency in Spanish to good use, as the Spanish community was rapidly growing in the Santa Ana area. As a Funeral Director who is licensed to sell pre-need insurance policies, Gerran is attentive to every details with all the families he serves. (Spanish speaking)
As a young man of sixteen, Paul came to work at Brown Colonial Mortuary and has remained a valued employee ever since. In December of 2000, he celebrated his 25th anniversary of employment with the Mortuary as a dedicated and knowledgeable funeral director and Manager.
After fifteen years with a funeral home in Los Angeles, Rafael joined the Brown Colonial Mortuary staff in 1999. Rafael brings a tremendous amount of experience, knowledge and dedication to the families. (Spanish speaking)
