I was just thinking of Max and unfortunately saw this obituary. I worked with Max at the Vista Vet Center in the late 90s. He was responsible for helping me enter Army Guard service and I went on to retire as a warrant officer 10 years ago. It never would have happened without Max's mentorship. A great man and he made a huge impact on my life. My sincere condolences.
