Dear Addie, Jim, Tom, and all the family...

I cannot tell you how sad I was to hear of Edward's passing, especially as it occurred about an hour, or within the hour of Thor's passing, around 10:15 am. I'm SO sorry I couldn't be there, but I just couldn't come, as I had so much to prepare myself for Thor's memorial...I hope you understand.

I know it took me long enough to write this condolence, but my own grief kept me from responding until now. I just want to tell you how much Edward was loved by the Schmidt family in general, and how much I remember him as being a very kind and humble, caring and all-around family guy. He was very patient and considerate, and funny, and I just wish I had taken the time to visit him before this. Life's lessons have taught me a lot in these past few weeks, but want to tell you I was thinking of him Jan. 1 into the wee hours of the morning.

My love, prayers and thoughts are with the whole Dumon family, and I am with you all in spirit, today and always.

Very sincerely,
Pauline

We are Don and Joyce Enders and we have known Ed and Addie for over 25 years when Don began golfing with the St. Callistus golf group. We always enjoyed Ed's version of "Roasting" the other guys during the earlier years. Don enjoyed golfing with Ed who would take photos of the golfers during our tournaments. Ed especially took pleasure in criticizing Don's golf shirts if they were too dark in color for the summer time.
Sorry to hear about Ed's passing as we loved and admired both he and Addie all these years.
