Trinidad Martina "Trini" Larson

Trinidad Martina Larson, lovingly known as "Trini", was born on January 20th, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA to Esther and Milton Gutierrez(both deceased). She was blessed to grow up with a brother Roland(deceased) and two sisters, Patricia(deceased) and Ann Michelle. After graduating high school, she went to work selling shoes at Bullocks department store and then Safeway with her brother and aunts. It was at a stoplight on her way to work she met the love of her life.  He asked her to pull over and they chatted. After work, she found a note on her car asking her to meet him at a local  shake shop. She would go on to date and fall in love with George Larson (deceased). They were soon married. They enjoyed family, friends and travel. Trini and George had 5 children, Catherine, Christine, Eric, Carla and Carrie. Trini was widowed in 1976 and would devote the rest of her life to raising children and grandkids. 

In 2017, Trini was diagnosed with the onset of Vascular Dementia. Soon thereafter, she was moved into assisted living, and for the next 8 years was lovingly cared for by a host of caretakers and nurses. On July 11, 2026, the Lord peacefully took Trini with family members at her side. 

Services will be held on July 17th at St Cornelius Catholic Church in Long Beach, CA. A rosary service will be at 9:30am with a funeral mass at 10:00AM
