Obituary

Our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Maria Tomasa Vera Villaneda of Zacatecas, Mexico, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2020 at the age of 75. “Tomasita aka Tomasina”, daughter of Arturo and Tomasa Vera, loving wife of the late Lucio Villaneda, passed away in the comfort of her home in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA after a long courageous battle with cancer. Tomasita is survived by her two daughters (Sandra and Fabiola) and three grandchildren (Chris, Jonathan and Luke), all living in Orange County. Tomasita was an angel we were all blessed to have in our lives; an angel who taught us how to love, how to be compassionate, how to be strong and courageous during adversities, and how to take the good with the bad. Our queen was the epitome of pure love, strength, kindness, grace with a sense of humor and generosity. She was the glue that held everyone together and family time was always a priority. The manifestation of the outpouring of love for our queen is proof of the many lives she touched. Tomasita will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her dog Taylor, but we will never forget her smile, her beautiful spirit and her life lessons. Our love is eternal and our beautiful angel will always be with us and we will always be with her beyond the bounds of this realm!

Vuela alto y duerme tranquila.

In light of recent events, a private burial will be held at the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
