Suzanne Marie Ford, age 76, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2021 at her home in San Clemente, California. Born on June 9, 1944 in San Francisco, she was the daughter of Edna (Connor) Ford and Joseph Ford. Suzanne spent most of her childhood growing up in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia where her father worked for Aramco. She attended Marymount International School Rome, Italy where she converted to Catholicism and became a devote Catholic. Suzanne went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Portland. Professionally, she worked off and on as a medical assistant in various physician’s offices in Northern California and Portland, Oregon. Suzanne always referred to herself as a “tomboy,” so it was fitting that she was a loving and devoted mother to three boys. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and Westie dogs. She was competitive by nature and played a mean game of gin rummy. She was an avid sports fan of football, basketball and golf. Suzanne loved the outdoors, the ocean and the beach. One of her favorite things to do was listening to Kenny Chesney at high volume while driving down the highway. Suzanne is survived by her three sons, Scott Bauccio, Kurt Bauccio and Eric Bauccio; her daughter-in-laws’ Carrie Bauccio and Cassandra Bauccio; her five (5) grandchildren, Michaela Bauccio, Brian Bauccio, Gianna Bauccio, Jack Bauccio and Sophia Bauccio; her brother Michael Ford and sister-in-law Carol Ford; and her precious dog Laddie. The funeral service will be a small private memorial with close family and friends.
