Socorro Guerrero Obituary

In Loving Memory of Socorro Guerrero

September 19, 1945 – June 12, 2026

Socorro Guerrero passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, and devoted service to her family.

A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, Socorro lived each day with a tender heart, a generous spirit, and an unwavering trust in God. She was the beloved wife of the late Ancelmo Ortiz and a devoted mother to her five children: Veronica, Robert, Marissa, Elizabeth, and Christopher. Her family was the joy and purpose of her life, and she poured her love into every act of care, encouragement, and sacrifice.

Socorro was a loving and cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, her sister, and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by her warmth, kindness, and steadfast love.

She had a special gift for making everyone feel at home. Through her delicious home-cooked meals, her welcoming smile, and her open heart, Socorro shared her love in the most gracious and memorable ways. Her hospitality was a reflection of her beautiful spirit, and her home was a place where family and friends felt comforted, cared for, and deeply loved. She also found peace and joy in tending to her beloved plants, nurturing them with the same patience, tenderness, and devotion she gave so freely to those around her.

Those who knew Socorro will always remember her gentle spirit, quiet strength, compassionate heart, and steadfast faith. Her life was a shining example of love lived out in action, and the kindness she showed so naturally will continue to bless and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the hope that she is now in the presence of her Savior, whom she faithfully served throughout her life. Her love, her faith, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

She will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and always missed.
