Sheila (Rabara) Machkoff

Sheila Rabara Machkoff, 49 years of age, residing in Tustin, CA joined our Lord on January 1st 2025.  Originally born in Baguio City, Philippines in 1975, Sheila moved to California with her family at the young age of 9 in 1984.

She is survived by her Husband Jeff Machkoff, Daughter Evangeline Machkoff, Son Alexander Machkoff, Mother Tessie Rabara, Brother Rodel Rabara, and Sister Shelby Rabara Shum.  Her father Edgar Rabara Preceded her in death in 2013.

Sheila Earned a bachelor’s degree from Cal State University Long Beach and was an accomplished professional Critical Care Nurse (RN) for 20 years at UCI Medical Center in Orange, CA and hoped to finish her education towards a Masters of Nursing Degree.  In her personal time Sheila was an avid traveler, loved cooking and culinary arts, enjoyed musicals, movies, and musical bands, practiced yoga regularly, and very much enjoyed spending quality time with her family camping, hiking, and BBQing.

A funeral service will be conducted from 10AM-1PM Saturday January 11th at Brown Colonial Mortuary in Santa Ana, CA followed by a funeral mass at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Santa Ana from 2PM-3PM to honor and commemorate her life.

Sheila had a genuine zest for living each day to its fullest and was a truly beautiful soul who touched the hearts of many through her work, her attitude, and her interaction with many people of all walks of life…she will be missed forever and never forgotten.
