Rose Marie (Ruddy) Wojtkiewicz

Rose Marie Wojtkiewicz, age 94, peacefully passed away in her sleep on August 6, 2024. A beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Rose touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and zest for life.

Born on March 10, 1930, in Cherokee Iowa. From Iowa the family moved out west to the Los Angeles area and eventually to Orange County area where she has resided in Fountain Valley for the past 53 years. She witnessed incredible changes throughout her life and embraced every moment with grace and gratitude. Known for her exceptional cooking, she delighted friends and family with her famous buffet meals and hosted gatherings that were filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Rose’s dedication to her family was unwavering. She is survived by her children, Dennis, Brian, Norman and Tina and was a proud grandmother that brought immense joy to her life. Her family was the essence of her existence, and she taught them the values of compassion, hard work, and the importance of kindness.

In her later years, Rose found joy in her reading novels, gardening, where she nurtured beautiful flowers and vegetables, and she loved to share her gardening tips with anyone who would listen.

Rose is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman and son Greg and daughter Donna and many brothers and sisters. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire her family and friends.

 Rose's Funeral will be held on August 23, 2024, at the Holy Spirit Church in Fountain Valley. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring her memory of her remarkable life.

Rest in peace, dear Rose. Your love and spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew you.
