Roberta Brown found love in her hometown of South River, New Jersey. She was a caring, giving person who contributed to disabled veterans and children's hospitals because she wanted to help the troubled in the world. Many found delight in the forty kinds of Christmas cookies that she baked and gave away to schools and churches. Roberta had a green thumb, cared for growing things, and animals who loved her in return.
She was dedicated to Santa Ana and enjoyed her time living there, joining the Elks Club and using her talents at finance. She was honest in her faith, with rock solid convictions on right and wrong, yet never excluded anyone from her large circle of friends, accepting all people, who enjoyed her wit and great sense of humor. She is survived by her son Wayne T. Hetman, who took care of her and protected her until her passing at age 87, even though she wanted to stay 72.
