Ray N. Gallina born January 13, 1935 in Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully at his home in Orange, California on February 21, 2025. Proceeded by his daughter Coreen, he is survived by his wife, Inez, his four children, and seven grandchildren. Ray, or “Big Ray” as he was known by his friends and clients, valued being able to provide for his family, retiring at the age of 86 from State Farm where he worked as an insurance agent for over 50 years. When not working in the career that he loved, he spent his time indulging in his hobbies which included traveling, watching baseball, horse racing, and frequent trips to Las Vegas. In Vegas he had fun playing the horses and occasionally slipping the showroom Maitre d’ $20 to sit him close to the stage so he could better see his heroes Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra. Big Ray loved telling and hearing a good story and always had a joke he needed to share. He’ll be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
