RALPH LYNN PERRY was born on August 21, 1964, in Oakland, California to mother, Patricia, Lynnette Perry and father Rightly Ralph Perry. Being part of a military family his early life included moves to Long Beach, California, Pensacola, Florida, and ultimately Chula Vista, California, where he spent his early years. After obtaining his high school diploma from Bonita Unified School District he worked as a landscaper, a flooring salesmen, a firefighter with the California Department of Forestry, and a welder at Continental Maritime in San Diego. Soon after, he pursued his true passion by obtaining his certification as an emergency medical paramedic from Daniel Freeman Hospital in Long Beach, California. As this was his true calling by the Lord, he spent the next 25 years honing his craft, while obtaining the respect of others within the first responder community. Initially he worked for Hall Ambulance and American Medical Response in Fresno and Bakersfield, California. In 2010, he and his first wife moved to Linn Creek, Missouri where he was employed by St. John’s Mercy Hospital and the Camden County Ambulance District for over 12 years. During this time he provided medical aid for the county of Camden, Missouri, where he was well liked and respected by members of the County’s first responder community. In 2022, for medical reasons, Ralph retired.
In 2021, he married Debra Lynn Adams of Springfield, Missouri. They resided in Linn Creek, Missouri, with their dog Shasta and cat Jack, where they enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and water sports.
He is survived by his wife Debra Lynn Perry of Linn Creek, Missouri; mother Patricia Lynnette Muhr of Santa Ana, California; father Rightly Ralph Perry and wife Laura of Linn Creek, Missouri; brother Michael Sean Perry and wife Jennifer of Seattle, Washington; brother Rightly Todd Perry and wife Rae Ann of Corona, California; and brother Robert Donald Perry and wife Leila of Chula Vista, California. He is also survived by nieces, Jaclyn, Avery, Payton, and Morgan, as well as nephews Nathan, Bennett, Garrett, Nicholas, Jackson, and Ethan.
RALPH LYNN PERRY passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 59 while vacationing in Santa Ana, CA. He will be remembered, respected, and loved by all who knew him.
