Prudencio S. Lagazo, (86) of Santa Ana, California, passed away on February 11, 2024, surrounded by family. Prudencio, known as Dencio and Denny, was born to Francisca and Vialiano Lagazo, on May 28, 1937 in the Philippines. He loved music and was a talented saxophone player. He also enjoyed gardening as well as spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. After graduating from a university in the Philippines, he came to the US and became an accountant and a business owner. Dencio is survived by his wife, Erlinda and his daughter, Jenifer. He’s also survived by his grandchildren, Michael and Olivia. Denny was a connoisseur of sports, especially basketball. His favorite team is the LAKERS! He would accompany his family to church on most Sundays and frequently made humble donations. He participated in his grandchildren’s activities like their baseball, basketball, and volleyball games. His favorite event was going to Grandparents Day at Mater Dei. Prudencio’ a family will host a viewing on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 4-8pm. The service will be at Brown Colonial Mortuary in Santa Ana. The funeral service is on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 11am and it will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa. There will be a reception at Asia Buffet that will take place after the Burial in Lake Forest.
