Our beloved mom, wife, sister, auntie and friend, Pamela Charisse Grove, 70, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home on March 3, 2020.
Pam (Pammie) was the center of our world. She was the glue that held everyone together and no matter how far the distance, she made you feel like you were the most important person in her life. Her laugh, beautiful smile, sense of humor and care for everyone she loved brightened the world even when she was facing her own hardships. Her love of road trip-adventures, shopping, food and her beloved pups made her so happy. She enjoyed all of the simple surprises in life.
Pam was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, October 2, 1949, to William and Elizabeth Weitz. She met the love of her life, Cliff Grove, on a bus. After married, they relocated to San Diego while Cliff served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. During this time, their first daughter Kim was born. Once Cliff’s service was finished with the Navy the family relocated to Santa Ana, California where Melinda, Suzanna and CJ were born. Her brothers and parents expanded the family as they too relocated from Pennsylvania. Pam and Cliff’s deep and committed love continued for 51 years. Along with Cliff, her children and grandchild, Kimberly Mulligan (Dan), Melinda, Suzanna, CJ and Angel Grove were the center of her world. She loved them with all her heart. Pam is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Weitz. She is survived by her beloved Cliff, her best friend and sister, Pixie DeMann, her comedy partner and brother, Rick Weitz, all of her very much loved children and grandchild, and many adoring nieces and nephews.
