Martha Christine Marvin, 61, of Fullerton, CA, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022. While Martha was her name, she was affectionately known as Marty. Marty was born to Jaime and Teresa Gonzales and raised in Santa Ana, CA. After graduating from Santa Ana High School and a few jobs, Marty attended Golden West College and earned her degree in American Sign Language. With her degree Marty worked for the Fullerton Elementary School District as an Interpreter before moving to Hope School in the Anaheim District where she enjoyed a long career working with her students.
In 1986 Marty married John and went on to have two children, Christopher, and Carissa.
Marty is survived by her two children, Chris and Carissa, her mother, Teresa Gonzales, her sister Helen, and her brother Jimmy.
There will be a Celebration of Life reception following the service at 1906 N. Baker St., Santa Ana, CA 92706.Family and friends,

her journey's just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much
