Marianne's early years were marked by a journey across the United States, from Denver, Colorado to Billings, Montana, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Seattle, Washington, before settling in Fullerton, California. Marianne graduated from Sunny Hills High School in 1976. She was active on the school’s tennis team and theater department. She attended California State University, Fullerton. Marianne played a vital role in her children's lives, serving as a Cub Scout den leader, actively participating in the PTA, and organizing numerous school activities such as the Reflections Arts Program. She dedicated several years to volunteering at the Cotillion program at the Yorba Linda Country Club. She truly was a "Super Mom," she skillfully balanced the busy schedules of her three children, shuttling them from soccer fields to baseball diamonds to dance lessons. The Nash household was always bustling with activity, thanks to her tireless efforts.
A dedicated Catholic, Marianne instilled her children with strong moral values and actively participated in her religious community. Her love for travel created cherished memories for her family. In her later years, despite mobility challenges, she found happiness in exploring the world virtually through Google Maps Street View and engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Marianne's greatest source of pride was her family. She adored her children and grandchildren, finding immense happiness in their accomplishments and milestones. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will forever live on in their hearts.
