With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, who left this world
on December 29, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on December 13, 1940, in Jalisco,
Mexico, to a life of modest means, and from those humble beginnings grew a woman of
extraordinary strength, grace, and generosity.
Though she never measured wealth in material things, she became rich beyond measure through
a life filled with love. She shared a devoted marriage with her beloved husband, who preceded
her in death, and together they built a family rooted in faith, perseverance, and unconditional
love. She was the proud and loving mother of nine children, two daughters and seven sons, and
the cherished grandmother of sixteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, each of whom
carries her warmth and wisdom forward.
Our mother was the heart of our family, nurturing, strong, and endlessly giving. Her laughter, her
advice, her prayers, and her many quiet sacrifices shaped generations. From tireless rises at the
strawberry fields to her duties at home as a loving wife and mother. Her legacy lives on in the
values she instilled, the love she shared, and the countless lives she touched. She will be
profoundly missed and forever remembered.
The Rose of Jalisco
From Jalisco’s soil, a rose once grew,
With humble roots kissed by morning dew.
Her petals formed through love and care,
A gentle strength beyond compare.
She bloomed in life, in heart, in grace,
In her children’s arms, in time’s embrace.
Though seasons fade and petals fall,
Her fragrance lingers, blessing all.
Rest now, dear Rose, your work complete,
In eternal light, in peaceful sleep.
Your love still blooms in all we are—
The Rose of Jalisco, our guiding star.
