Maria Auxilio Covarrubias De Leon passed away on March 21, 2018 in Fountain Valley, California at the age of 76.
Chilo was born in Calera, Zacatecas Mexico, on February 24, 1942. She was the daughter of Jesus and Maria De Leon.
She is survived by her loving husband Luis Covarrubias, they were married on June 2, 1963.

Luis Covarrubias Jr, Leonardo Covarrubias (Rachelle Swisher-Covarrubias), Lourdes C. Flavia (Terence Flavia), Dolores C. Escobedo (Lauro Escobedo) and Sergio Covarrubias (Luisa Carrasco).

Izabella Herrera, Luis Antonio Escobedo, Levi Covarrubias, Andrea Escobedo, Victoria Herrera, Lucas Covarrubias, Alexandra Escobedo, Abigail Escobedo, Arianna Escobedo, Alana Swisher, Lauro Escobedo Jr., Sofia Covarrubias and Eva Covarrubias.
Great grand children, Layla Escobedo, Liliana Maria Lyman.
Chilo’s passion was to sew and knit. Her aprons, quilts and knitted blankets have warmed many babies and loved ones. She loved to sell. She would sew all yearlong to sell at the Christmas boutiques. Chilo was full of life and lived each day with prayer, love, work and music. She was full of kindness for her family. Chilo had the heart of an angel with hands of gold.
