In the presence of his family at home, Marcial Lucio Falcon, of Santa Ana, California, passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2022, at the age of eighty-five. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, his 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was a graduate from Santa Ana High School where his life-long passion for sports was on display as he played football, baseball, and ran track.
The most significant event of attending Santa Ana High was meeting Eleanor. They were married for over 63 years and built a life rich in family tradition. An important value he always expressed to his loved ones is that family must remain close despite the challenges that life would bring. He also shared his joy for laughter as he was never shy to make a joke.
A true patriot, his strong love for country led him to proudly serve in the Army for 9 years. After being honorably discharged, he remained dedicated to America and enthusiastically fulfilled his civic duties.
He was a compassionate man who never turned away those in need. As a man of faith, he prayed daily for his family and for those that he knew were struggling.
Although Marcial came from humble means, he devoted his energy every day to make sure his family was protected and well cared for.
Marcial’s positive impact will live on, though, he will be terribly missed by his family, friends, and all that knew and loved him.
