Marcelle Bonneau Taylor entered into rest on Thursday, December 4th 2025. She passed away peacefully at Pomona Valley Hospital in California. She was eighty-eight years old.
Marci was born June 4th of 1937 to Armand and Adeline Eyler, second of two children. She married Theodore William Taylor, USMC, at St. Andrews Chapel, U. S. Naval Academy, in March of 1957. An officer’s wife and a mother, Marci later earned college degrees: Bachelor of Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, then Master of Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. Her private practice as a Marriage Family Therapist spanned thirty-one years. Marci was also a gifted watercolor artist who joyfully practiced Chinese brush painting. Widowed in 1988, she married Jack Harwood Stewart in 1999. Together they beautified his Upland home before together transitioning to Hillcrest of La Verne. She is remembered as having compassion for all.
Marci was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tise, and her husband. Marci is survived by her children Mark, Kathy, Dean, three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been managed by Brown Colonial Mortuary in Santa Ana. Graveside service will be held at Saint Ambrose Episcopal Church in Claremont.
