Lee Jarvis Obituary

LeRoy Alan Jarvis, who preferred to be called Lee Jarvis, was born in Portland, OR on June 28th, 1945, and went to heaven to be with his Lord on Dec. 23rd, 2020, at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA.

Lee grew up in Canby OR, graduated from Medford High School in 1963 and joined the United States Army right out of High School. He served in Korea from 1964-1966, and Vietnam from 1970-1972. He was discharged from the Army in 1979 where he landed in CA from 1979 until his passing. He worked for Montgomery Wards for several years in the early 1980’s and then went to Time Warner installing cable all over southern CA until he retired in Nov. 2011.

He is proceeded in death by his dad Cecil Jarvis, and step dad and mom Alfred and Ruth Holsten. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Silver-Jarvis, sister Vie Anderson, brother Vern Holsten, sister Jeanette Bagge, daughter Kenna Senn, sons James and Curtis Jarvis, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A few special thoughts: Dad always said, “ how is my favorite daughter?” or “ I have three children….. one of each.” I will miss his sense of humor. Kenna

Dad was the guy with the slapable belly for us kids, he always found great deals on yard sales, and he pretty much let us be kids. James

Thank you Pop for your guidance and wisdom, I will never forget golfing and deep sea fishing with you and James. I love you and you will be deeply missed. Curtis.
