LaTesha Dashaun Hollins

Due to the pandemic and CDC restrictions placed on our mortuary, we are limited to only 50% of the chapel capacity or 50 guests allowed in attendance for all funeral services. The Hollins family will invite 50 guests to attend LaTesha's funeral and provide us with a list of those names. To many LaTesha was known for her laugh  silliness, & caring ways. She had a way of working your nerves & making you laugh at the same time!

As a child, she loved performing, singing, & dancing. Tesha would sing her little heart out in the church choir at New Spirit Baptist & also in school at both Thomas Paine Elementary & Fitz Intermediate. At school, she had roles in plays & had even tried her luck with instruments playing the clarinet.

Outside of school & church, she was a social butterfly! She loved car, was affiliated with car clubs, & would go all out in customizing her cars.

In addition to her love for cars, LaTesha's  love for music was even deeper. She began writing lyrics as a teen & because it came to her so naturally, it became her a safe haven.

As an adult, She started rapping to express herself, put all her emotions into her lyrics, & linked up with whoever she knew had access to studios in hopes of having the opportunity to record her. She accomplished that goal numerous times!

LaTesha was a extremely loving person & will be missed by many. La Tesha we love you and will miss you dearly. Forever In Our Heart
