Jimmy Ealey Gonzales AKA Nune, Gonzo or Mr. G was born on October 19, 1950 to Betty and Joe Gonzales. Graduated from Santa Ana High in 1968. Married his sweetheart Julie, was blessed with a son, (Jimmy) and then a granddaughter he adored (Kiani). Went to Santa Ana College and earned an Associate's degree in Fire Science and realized his childhood dream of becoming a fireman. During his tenure as a fireman, he received a medal of valor for saving a child from a flooded channel. He was honored in a parade for winning a bronze medal in weight lifting in the Fireman's Olympics. At age 40 he started playing Semi Pro football, was a member of the Screen Actors' Guild, and was also a member of the Holy Family choir. He enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to Hawaii where he attended several Pro Bowls from 1994-2022.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Julie. Son, Jimmy (Rosa), Granddaughter Kiani, sibling, Sharon, Dorothy, David (Linda), Veronica (Brian), Lori, Tony, June (Matt) and many loving nieces, and nephews.
