Jack C. Robinson “Robby”
Jack Robinson of Santa Ana California was born on May 24, 1933 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Charles and Pearl (Reed) Robinson. He died in Anaheim, California on August 16, 2023. He was 90 years old.
Jack joined the United States Marine Corps in 1953. He actively served in Korea. During his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service medal and three Good Conduct medals. He was honorably discharged in 1961 as a Sgt E-5.
After his military service, Jack went to work for ITT Cannon-Santa Ana. He worked there as a machinist for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. In retirement, he used his unyielding curiosity and knowledge while tinkering with antique machinery and engines. His innovation and craftsmanship will forever remain in our memories.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Margaret and his wife, Enid T. Robinson. He is survived by his son Scott Robinson, step-sons David L. Godley and Richard Paul Godley. He is also survived by grandchildren; Patrick, Jonathan, Vincent and Christina Robinson, step-grandchildren Phillip and Matthew Godley, Brian Rosenbaum and Krystal Tackett and several step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 29 1:00pm at Santa Ana Cemetery.
