Guy James Chiarella was born in Warren Ohio in 1934. The son of two Italian immigrants. At a very young age he taught himself drafting and architecture. He graduated from Kent State with a degree in education, this is also where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth. After a short stay in the National Guard, Guy and Liz moved out to California, where they both began a teaching career. They both retired from the La Habra school district. Guy was a man of many trades, all of them self-taught, including masonry carpentry, and various other construction skills; made evident by the beautiful grounds of his home in Yorba Linda.
Guy and Elizabeth enjoyed traveling all over the world fearlessly, including a trip into the Soviet Union by car where he toured Poland Yugoslavia and East Germany. Guy also achieved a master's degree in psychology from Pepperdine University. In his later years, Guy enjoyed walking and mingling with the neighborhood residents. Guy was 90 years strong when he passed and he survived by his nephew, Giovanni, grandniece Lola and many cousins.
