Guadalupe Carrillo, 85, of Santa Ana, passed away on June 9, 2024 after several health issues that she was not strong enough to fight.
Guadalupe was born on December 1, 1938 in Veracruz, Mexico. Her father’s military career landed them in Ensenada, Baja California where she lived most of her youth.
In 1953, Guadalupe met Matias Carrillo(†) in Ensenada, B.C. They married and moved to live in the United States to start a family.
Guadalupe and Matias had five children, Eloise, Josephine, Mary Lou, Lupe, and Matias(†). For Guadalupe it was all about family. Celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, holidays preparing everyone’s favored dishes. She loved to travel throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Guadalupe enjoyed socializing with family, friends and neighbors.
Guadalupe was predeceased by her husband and only son, Matias who died at birth. Guadalupe is survived by her four daughters Eloise, Josephine, Mary Lou, Lupe; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
