Francisco Vidrio
June 3, 1943 - August 17, 2021
Francisco Vidrio was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His passing has left an inconsolable void in our family, yet we find solace knowing his life was well lived. He was a man who was a success, who laughed often and loved much. He passed away on August 17, 2021, in Orange County, California at the age of 78.
Francisco touched many lives. He was generous, helped those in need and led by example the value of hard work. He looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. He carried himself with the strength and charisma that commanded respect and while he was a man of few words, you knew he cared deeply, was giving, and had modest pride in his accomplishments. To know him was to appreciate his sense of humor and understand that he was sincerely a man of principle who stubbornly would not waver from what is right. What we learned from him was that life is short, sometimes brutal and it is never too late to forge your own path, seize opportunities and appreciate the moments. For him, it was returning to his beloved homeland in Cucula, Jalisco to cultivate his ranch. He worked tirelessly developing his land, tending crops and livestock with a determination and selflessness to leave a legacy that will carry on long after he was gone. It is during this time of darkness, we will look to the heavens and feel his embrace to help us heal, hope and carry on his legacy.
He leaves behind his wife, Maria de Jesus Vidrio and four sons who were his pride: Martin, Arturo, Ramiro, Rene and cherished daughter Yolanda Vidrio. He is survived by family including daughter-in-law Felipa Vidrio and grandchildren Keisha Le’on, Arturo Vidrio Jr., Madijah Vidrio and great grandchild Knox Le’on, sisters Ernestina, Socorro, Elvira, Maria and Carmen. We are comforted knowing he will be reunited with his siblings Cecilia, José María, and Luz Vidrio.
