Remembering Eleanor
Eleanor Marie Kelly, age 59, was born on December 21, 1961, in Corozal Town, Belize and left us to be with the Lord on June 26, 2021, in Santa Ana, California. She was the third daughter of nine children born to Rudolph and Kathleen Kelly. After graduating from Santa Ana Valley High School in 1980, Eleanor attended Santa Ana College and later worked at UCI Medical Center as a Hospital Assistant. She was an active member of Saint James Missionary Baptist Church.
The life of every party, Eleanor made friends everywhere she went with her brilliant smile, bubbly laugh, and kind nature. She was highly creative with a passion for crocheting blankets that she often gave as gifts to family and friends. She also loved to cook, watch the LA Lakers, and dance to Belizean music. Known for her daily phone calls and text messages, she never failed to check-in on those she loved. Eleanor also helped raise her many nephews and nieces. Loyal, caring, and compassionate, she was a valued source of support and connection. Eleanor changed those around her for the better with her playful sense of humor and joyful spirit.
Eleanor is at peace in God’s hand with her brother Dennis Kelly. She is survived by her parents, Rudolph and Kathleen Kelly, her brothers and sisters, Mary, Albertha, David, Joslin, Pearl, Rudolph Jr., Benjamin, her 14 nieces and nephews and her 8 great nieces and nephews.
Eleanor lives on in our hearts, gone, but never forgotten.
