Duane Darrell Green Jr.

Duane Darrell Green, Jr. passed away on October 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He resided in Victorville, California, where he built a home filled with strength, laughter, and deep love alongside his wife, Bricia Green, his son, David André Green (18), and his mother-in-law.

Duane was born in Bellflower, California, to Sandra Freeman and Duane D. Green, and later lovingly raised with the guidance of his stepfather, Kerry Otis. He shared a lifelong bond with his brother, Jamar Otis, and his sister, Denia Green, who will forever hold his memory close.

Duane was a kind and grounded man—a protector, a provider, and a calm, steady presence. He had a gift for bringing people together, often around the grill, a simmering pot on the stove, or a long-awaited game day. He loved barbecue, cooking, and making sure everyone felt welcomed, fed, and loved.

A true sports fan, Duane cheered with passion, loyalty, and joy. But no team, no moment, no victory ever meant more to him than cheering for his son. He was David’s biggest supporter, in every chapter and every season of life. At home, he was Bricia’s constant encourager, her anchor, her partner, and her greatest cheerleader in everything she did. Together, their love was strong, laughing, loyal, and real.

Duane lived with integrity and generosity. He gave of himself quietly and consistently, offering love in the way he cooked, showed up, listened, and protected. His life was built on family—and his legacy will continue in the hearts and memories of all who were blessed to know him.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
