Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce that Delores Oldham has passed. She went to sleep and woke up in Jesus’ arms on Sunday, July 16, 2023. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother of six, grandmother of ten, great-grandmother of two, sister, aunt, and friend. She spent her life dedicated to her family and her faith. She was a true example of a Christian woman for everyone she met, and it reflected through her entire life. She was kind, loving, gentle and generous woman, and never had an unkind word to say.
She spent her life giving to everyone around her. She both Substituted in the classrooms and taught CCD at St. Norbert Catholic School and Church, sharing her love of education and her faith with the youth of the parish. The school children loved to see her riding her bike to school and hoped she was going to be their substitute teacher that day. She taught many children in their sacrament journey to receive their First Communion and Reconciliation.
She and her husband Tom have been married nearly 63 years. She loved Tom dearly and was incredibly loving and tended to his every need. She was an amazing mother, and as her children grew and began to marry, she welcomed every new member of her family with love, kindness and grace. She was a truly generous and giving mother and mother-in-law. She was equally devoted to her grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with all of them. She made every one of them feel incredibly loved and special. She loved having family around! Her family and her faith are what gave her the most joy in her life. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving because it was all about family and being thankful for all of life’s blessings. She lived a life of blessing and Thanksgiving every day. She will be greatly missed by her entire family and friends. We take great comfort in knowing that she is with Our Lord and is watching over each and every one of us.
