Darren Gary Smith

Darren Gary Smith was born on August 27, 1989, in Santa Ana, California, and departed from this world on May 27, 2023 leaving a profound sense of loss in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Darren's journey was unexpectedly cut short, yet his impact on the lives he touched will forever be cherished.

Darren leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. His parents, Donald and Diana Smith were unwavering pillars of support, offering him unconditional love throughout his journey. His sister, Shannon Smith, shared a deep bond with Darren; their memories will forever hold a special place in her heart. Darren's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him and he will be fondly remembered by his uncles, aunts, godparents and a host of extended family.  Darren was preceded in death by his grandparents and a host of great aunts and uncles. Although they are no longer with us, their memories will forever be cherished.

While we mourn the loss of Darren's presence among us, we celebrate his kind heart, generosity, infectious laughter, and genuine love for those around him. These qualities will forever serve as a testament to the extraordinary person he was. The impact he made on the lives of others will continue to resonate, carrying his spirit forward.  May his soul find eternal peace in the arms of his Lord and Savior, and may we find solace in the treasured memories we hold dear.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Darren Gary Smith will be held on June 10, 2023, at Brown Mortuary in Santa Ana at 11:30 am. Viewing is available before the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Friends, family, and all who were fortunate enough to know him are invited to gather, pay their respects, and share cherished memories.
