Clarence Russell Jones was born to John and Anna Mae Jones on April 10, 1946, in Santa Ana, CA. He was an only child.
Clarence graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1964. After graduating Clarence attended Santa Ana College and later received an AA degree from Cypress College.
Later Clarence went to work for the Salvation Army in Anaheim, California as a Lead Counselor for 17 years where he retired.
In Clarence’s younger days he played for the Far west Little League at El Salvador Park. The Pony League where he played with Oscar Harrell, Raymond Harrell, Delbert Noble, Michael Burton, Verlen Burton, Kenny Allen, Roger Dixon and Ralph Henderson and others.
Clarence was very proud of his work in the field of addiction. Clarence was a fan of Black and White photography, he loved to dance, he enjoyed the music of Jimi Hendrix, Jazz, and all sports. He also loved to work out and keep his body looking good. Clarence’s favorite Bible scripture was John Chapter 14 Verses 1-4.
Cherishing the memories of his life is Eileen Oregel (partner of many years), daughters, Tonya Rene Bellfield, (Webster) Anna Michelle Jones, (Granville) Grandkids, Webster IV, Geraud, Tiara, Brianna, Kevon, Kenneth Jr, Genesis, Raymond and Rayjuan. Seven great-grandkids, Zeth Jones, (Uncle) cousins Pam, Ricky, (Jan) Derrick, Laurie Jones and a host of friends.
Preceded him in death were his parents John Jones (Dad), Anna Mae Jones (Mom) and granddaughter Alexis.
