Anne Bernadette Rembisz

In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be made to a charity of one's choosing on behalf of Anne B. Rembisz.  During the Lenten season, we cannot have flowers in the church.

Anne Bernadette Rembisz was born on February 8^th 1923 to Basil and Mary Samra in Cranford, New Jersey.   She was the second youngest of twelve children, all of whom pre-deceased her.  They included Najla, Habib, Emily, Nora, George, Louis, Rose, Joseph, Michael, Anita and Anthony.  In 1945 she married the love of her life Charles (Chuck) Rembisz  a marriage that lasted just  twenty -three years due to his early and  sudden death.    She is survived by her daughters Patricia A. Pankenier and her husband John E. Pankenier Jr.  and Geraldine J. Ryan wife of Charles Ryan.   She also leaves behind grandchildren Charles J. Pankenier, Suzan P. Pankenier, Thomas R. Hilson and Melissa A. Hilson.  She was admired and  loved by many nieces and nephews.

Anne spent most of her life in Paterson, New Jersey.  In 1997 she moved to Yorba Linda, California near her daughter Patricia.  There she thrived in the mild climate and camaraderie of new friends and adventures.  She loved to bake, cook, sing and watch old movies.  She also took particular delight in family gatherings.    

Anne’s long life was most notable for her kindness, generosity and Faith in the Lord.
