Annabel Sauceda Obituary

Annabel Garcia (Sauceda) was born on January 17, 1962, to Melaquias and Mary Lou Garcia (Sanchez) in Orange County, California. She is the youngest of a total of five brothers and sisters. She was preceded in life by her siblings Melaquias Jr, Ernesto (Ernie), Vivian Joann, and Betty. She is survived by her eldest sister Betty Garcia. Despite being the youngest she was fiercely independent, maturity beyond her age mixed in with just a bit of rebel. However, independent she will forever be a Daddy’s girl.

She married Louis P. Grijalva, IV in 1980. Had two children, Andreana (Angiano) and Louis Philip, V by 1985. She divorced after several years and remarried Victor Sauceda. She conceived Gabriel Sauceda in 1992. Several years later she gave birth to her last child Michael Salgado while estranged from Victor. She supported her family while working at the Orange County Register as a supervisor for many years. She enjoyed her time off by spending time going out with her friends. In addition, to being survived by her children and eldest sister she is also survived by grandchildren little Gabriel, Joshua, Eva, Phillip IV, Elyse, and Marcos (in-utero). She will also be remembered fondly by remaining aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

Besides being a Mama and Grandma, Annabel was a great friend. With the little she had, she was always helping others. Her humor is unforgettable, her resilience incomparable and her boldness unmatched. Throughout her lifetime she loved to dance, cook for an army while humming, or singing away at her favorite songs. She loved movies and was always looking for recommendations. With her vibrant vibrant personality and sense of humor, she could bring even recall memories as if she were doing stand-up comedy. Annabel’s tough exterior outwardly is equated to the amount of love she had for people but only a few were able to experience it.
