Ann Gurnick, age 94, of Santa Ana, passed away at home surrounded by family on September 27, 2020.
She was born in Pont, PA on February 19, 1926 to the late John and Martha Berezny. She was retired from Pfizer and was of the Russian Orthodox faith. Ann moved to California in the summer of 1956 and married the love of her life, Andrew Gurnick on September 15, 1956 at the St. Innocent Orthodox Church of Encino, Encino, CA.
In her later years, Ann liked listening to country music and watching old Western TV shows, especially The Virginian and Gunsmoke. She also enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and word searches. She loved being surrounded by friends and family.
Survivors include her older sister Mary, son Walter, daughter Martine, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, all of California.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Gurnick, three sisters and two brothers.
Ann requested to be cremated and buried with her husband Andrew at Westminster Memorial Park, Westminster, CA.
