Andrew Stanislaw Ciecek

Andrew S. Ciecek, born on March 23, 1953, passed away at home surrounded by his family in Tustin, California, on November 10th, 2023 after a long illness. Andrew was the son of Michael and Alicia Ciecek, who both preceded him in death. Andy is survived by his wife, Therese and four children, Michael Ciecek (Michelle), Mary Scholz (Jason), Daniel Ciecek (Kristin), and Claire Vercammen (Christopher). He also is survived by eight grandsons, Matthew, Anthony, John, Wade, James, Gabriel, Glenn and Joseph and four granddaughters, Layton, Molly, Andie and Ashlyn. Further survived by his three sisters Bozena Hodge, Elizabeth Ciecek and Jola Ramirez and many nieces and nephews.

Andy was a proud Servite graduate - class of 1971 and completed his Bachelor’s Degree and Masters Degree in Educational Administration from California State University, Long Beach. From 1981 to 1994 Andy owned a photography business, Andrew’s Photography, in Irvine specializing in wedding, family and children’s portraiture. Prior to that, Andy worked for the Irvine Unified School District from 1975 to 1981 as an educator. 

Funeral Mass to be celebrated Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Holy Family Church at 10:00 A.M. 566 South Glassell St., Orange. After the mass there will be a reception in Holy Family Hall. Interment at 1:30PM at Santa Ana Cemetery.
