Alfred S. Luzania, born in Wilmington, CA on June 1, 1929, a lifelong resident of Santa Ana, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, July 25, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret Luzania, his two daughters Liz & Jo Luzania, his three (3) grandchildren (Kelly, Jeff, & Julie), two grandson in-laws, five (5) great-grandchildren, and his two (2) sisters, Very Nevarez and Sandy Barela. Alfred was a proud US Air Force veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a huge USC fan and created many happy memories with his family by attending football games every season. He instilled the love of beach camping and spent many summers with his family at Newport Dunes or Campland by the Bay. He always wore a USC or US Air Force Veteran hat. Alfred was a retired accountant and continued to file tax returns as a hobby as recently as this past April. He looked forward to seeing his clients every tax season. Many of those clients became life-long friends. We are blessed that Poppa lived a long life to see his children, grandkids, and great-grandkids grow. He was there for us all of our lives and he will be deeply missed. We will honor him and his memory everyday of our lives.
