Thomas Joseph De Coursey

On Thursday, October 4, 2018, Tom De Coursey embarked on his final travel adventure, passing away peacefully at age 68.

The third of six children, Tom was born to Maggie and Bill De Coursey on July 9, 1950 in Redlands, California.  Raised in a deeply-rooted Irish Catholic home, his education, both academic and moral, included graduating from Holy Family Elementary, Servite High and Santa Clara University.  He completed his MBA at California State University, Long Beach and for over 40 years worked as a managerial accountant in the aerospace industry.

Tom's passion for history, especially the family's ancestral story, inspired countless trips to Ireland and Germany. On the homefront, he loved tending his roses and keeping up with his favorite teams. He was a sensitive, quiet and generous soul who took delight in sharing a pint with friends and family and offering a heartfelt sláinte! to all.

Tom is preceded in death by both his parents and survived by his three sisters Peggy, Tookie and Maureen, his brothers Pat and Paul, and nephews Matt and Ryan.

Safe travels, dear brother.  You are never far from our hearts.
