Richard D Poliquin was born in Devil's Lake North Dakota to Peter and Elizabeth Poliquin. He was the youngest of 5 children. He moved to Los Angeles California after High School where he enlisted in the United States Navy U.S. Naval Air and served in the Korean War.
Richard married Lorraine Sterling February 20 1960 and celebrated 59 wonderful years together residing in the Orange County area.
He and his brother started a steel fabricating company and he very much enjoyed his many years there and in the industry. They became a lifelong friendship and family.
He was always thinking of new inventions. He was an avid pool player and invented a pool cue scuffer called the "Tip Tapper" that was very successful.
He enjoyed skiing, tennis, photography and was an accomplished guitarist.
He is survived by his wife, daughter and son in law, 2 amazing grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His greatest love was his family and he will be greatly missed. Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
