Ralph Gomez, age 53, transitioned into everlasting life on Monday, September 9, 2019 after a long fight of health complications. Born on September 7, 1966, to Esperanza and Rogelio Gomez. Ralph spent most of his life in his hometown; Santa Ana, California. He raised his two children Ralph and Frankie Gomez while following his passion in construction making concrete stamps and stains for Sullivan Concrete. At age 30, he had a heart attack and could no longer work, but continued to fight on for his kids and family. After his heart attack, he had surgery to get a defibrillator. While in surgery, he flat lined but doctors brought him back. Throughout the years he developed heart disease, kidney failure, and liver failure. Despite the circumstances, he continued to defy doctors’ odds. He became a grandfather to his son Ralph’s two beautiful children Ralph Jr. and Aubrey Gomez. A couple of years before his passing; granting his son Frankie’s wishes, they moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Ralph showed courage, strength, love, and willpower in the face of adversity. He never gave up and gave it his all until the very end. He was a uncle, nephew, cousin, son, friend, confidant and brother to Sergio, Patricia, Blanca, Carlos, Roger, David, and Miguel. He was the best dad anyone could’ve asked for. He would always say; “Shoot for the stars, cause the sky is the limit.”
