Marsha Maddox Lowrey
Born January 9, 1943 - Long Beach, California
Died : May 13, 2017 – Bella Vista, Arkansas
Marsha was a California native through and through. After growing up in Long Beach, and living in San Diego for a brief time, she settled down and raised her two children in Tustin, California. Marsha graduated from Millikan High School, and then continued her education at California State University, Long Beach. Marsha won the Frances Gregory Award in 1963 while at Long Beach State, and continued supporting her sorority throughout her lifetime, which is not surprising to those who know her. Marsha obtained her teaching credential and she absolutely loved teaching. Her teaching career ended way too early due to Multiple Sclerosis (MS), but that did not stop her from living. Marsha worked for an attorney’s office before finishing her career at the Tustin Area Historical Society as the registrar. Once retired in 2006, Marsha moved to Bella Vista, in Northwest Arkansas and quickly took to the slower pace of life. Everyone who knows Marsha can testify to how caring, loyal, smart, funny, classy, and special she is.
Marsha is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Thomas Lowrey and her two children, Matthew Lundin and Julianne Lundin-Brown.
