Our loving mother and grandmother, Margaret Rose Beall, age 92, passed away at her home of 52 years in Santa Ana, CA, surrounded by her family, on July 14, 2017.    She was a native of California, having been born in Los Angeles.   She lived in San Garbriel on ‘the ranch’ with her parents and aunts/uncles before settling in during her teenage years in the Los Feliz Area.    She was a real L.A. Woman, riding streetcars, playing in Griffith Park, skating and playing tennis, attending concerts at the Greek Theatre.   Long time parishioner of Mother of Good Counsel, High School graduate of Bishop Conaty.  She saw young college students with their Western Civ books and decided she too would go to college – U.S.C., degree in Education, Class of ‘47.    Elementary School Teacher for 12 years before marriage and new life in Orange County – married for 48 years to Theodore John Beall who passed in 2008.    Long time parishioner of Holy Family Church/Cathedral.   She leaves behind her children Tony (Jennifer), Peter (Sarah), Katie (Philip), John (Sharon), Ted (Elizabeth) and 17 wonderful grandchildren, Ellen, Andrew, Amanda, Patrick, Rocko, Teddy, Erin, Christine, Alex, Shannon, Jillian, Philip, Michael, Grace, Julianna Margaret, Charlotte and Theo.Viewing Friday from 6-7 with a vigil at 7:00PM, both at Brown Colonial Mortuary, funeral Mass, Saturday, 10:00AM.
