Eleanor Ann Hack, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2019,
at Kaiser’s Hospital in Baldwin Park. She was born July 20, 1930, in Bridgeport, Connecticut,
to Michael & Ann Crosby. She had three siblings, Millie, Bing & Michael. She spent most of her life in Connecticut, but also lived in Maryland & Georgia before ending up in California, where she settled near her siblings.
Eleanor had four children – Jim, Steve, Dave & Susie. She dedicated her life to raising them, as a single mother. She worked for the government, as a clerical worker, for 30 years.
In addition, she was a caregiver to her mom, Ann Crosby and her daughter Susie. Her caring & selfless nature made her very special and endeared her in our hearts. Her faith in God kept her strong throughout her life and carried her though many sorrows. She was a blessing in all our lives.
Eleanor is survived by her son, Steve Hack; grandson, Brian Hack; daughter-in-law, Georgia Hack; granddaughter, Annalee Hack; niece, Debby Vallieres and husband Bill; niece, Sandy Sligar and husband Scott; grandniece, Jenna and husband Dave & great-great niece, Rya Weidinger; grandniece, Danielle and husband Jorge & great-great nephew, Layne Del Muro.
