Eleanor A. Cox

Eleanor Alice Cox was born Sept. 26, 1936 in Wakonda, South Dakota to Lawrence & Marian Kirstine.  She is the oldest of 9 children.  Her family consisted of 5 brothers & 3 sisters.    She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband, David Lee Cox, and her daughter Debra Ann Thompson Morales; as well as her parents,& her brother Dale.  She is survived by her daughters, Cindy, Beverly {Robert}, Nancy, and Cathleen.  She has 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. 
Elie never knew a stranger.  She affected everyone who ever met her with her infectious laughter, her excellent cooking skills, and her love for entertaining.  Nearly every new child was welcomed in to the family with one of her handcrafted quilts.  Her love of photography created many side trips when she traveled.   She has been loved by many and will be missed by all.
