ORONA, DOLORES N.

Dolores N. Orona, age 90, a life-time resident of Orange, passed away August 11, 2018.

Dolores grew up in El Modena and was a graduate of Orange High School.  She worked for the Xerox Corporation as a Quality Control Tester for 20 years before she and her husband opened their flower shop, “Casa de Flores” in Orange which they operated for 18 years.

Dolores is survived by her son, Daniel, daughter, Sharon, grandson, Richard (& Brandi), great-grandson, Ryker.  Also surviving are two sisters, Henrietta Flores and Mercy Serrano; one brother, Jess Contreras, several nieces and nephews and her beloved pets, Emma, Chuy & Sadee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel in 2006 and their son, Richard in 1991.

Visitation will begin at 3:00pm Sunday, August 26th at Brown Colonial Mortuary with a vigil service at 5:00pm in the mortuary chapel.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am Monday, August 27th at St. Norbert Catholic Church, Orange.  Interment will follow in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange.
