Daniel Francis Gallivan

​GALLIVAN, DANIEL FRANCIS
Dan was born on October 25, 1927, in Hartford, CT, and passed away at home in Santa Ana, surrounded by his family, on March 12, 2019.

He is survived by his bride of 58 years, Dorothy; four children; and seven grandchildren.  A graduate of St. Anthony's HS in Long Beach and UCLA, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta and head yell leader for Bruins football, Dan worked as a stockbroker for over 40 years.
With spirited humor and Irish wit, Dan was devoted to his family and steadfast in his Catholic faith.  We miss him dearly.  Please pray for a family reunion in heaven that welcomes him with a hip-hip-hooray!
Friends and family are invited to a funeral Mass at Holy Family Cathedral in Orange on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 12:10 pm, with visitation and Holy Rosary immediately prior.
