Arthur Kendrick Jr.

Arthur Kendrick Jr. was the second of fourteen children born on August 17, 1933 in Calhoun County in the city of Morgan Georgia to the late Mr. Arthur Kendrick Sr. and Lila Bell Lang Kendrick. 
He departed this life on June 26, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Mission Hospital. He was deeply loved and a respected citizen of Orange County.  He served in the Armed Forces of the United States.  After his retirement he worked as a Lake Forest Crossing guard for several years and received Crossing Guard of the year for Lake Forest in 2005 - 2006. He so enjoyed spending time at the Lake Forest Senior Center and the BWC Club playing cards and fellowship with others. He was the center of our family gatherings and the patriarch of our entire family. He was also very proud of his service of over 60 years at Johnson Chapel AME Church. 

He leaves to mourn his passing, a loving devoted wife, Perma Lee Kendrick of 62 years, two sons; Carl Ellis Kendrick and Arthur Mark Kendrick, one daughter, Carol Kendrick Scally and son-in-law Conan Mathew Scally, three grandsons, Carl Ellis Kendrick II, Adam Josiah Kendrick and Timothy Isaiah Kendrick, one niece, Carman Therese Braga Kendrick and one great grandchild, Adam Josiah Kendrick Jr., two Goddaughters, Tanassa Mashawn Kendrick and Stephanie Johnson and Godson Patrick Johnson, six sisters, four brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
