On February 15, 2018, Ramsey Aguiñaga succumbed to his arduous fight with Cardiac Sarcoma. Ramsey is survived by his SONshine, Mateus Aguiñaga, his relatives, Cecilia Aguiñaga (Beautiful Mother), Armando Aguiñaga (Strong Father), Allan Aguiñaga (“Bobo” Brother), Sylvia Aguiñaga (“Chima” Sister), and his newly-wed wife, Claudia Aguiñaga (Lovely “Chatita”) and step-daughter, Noemy Castro (“Champ”).
It was a good fought struggle to live. Ramsey shrunk the tumor and trusted his faith and natural remedies as well. Unfortunately, in spite of Ramsey's tremendously good spirit, his disciplined effort to eat healthier and live healthier, the cancer had its way with his heart. Ramsey died in peace at UC San Diego Health in the company of his closest friends and family.
Ramsey did many things in life from participating in high school and collegiate football, creating his own business, to serving proudly in law enforcement for two distinguished Police Department’s: the Los Angeles Police Department and the Santa Ana Police Department.
To make the long story short, as Ramsey often said and never meant, he was an amazing, loving father, a wonderful, thoughtful son, a protective, caring brother, a handsome, magnetic partner, a loyal, fun friend, and an incredibly hard worker with a mind as sharp as can be. He lit up a room with his smile and always made us laugh. We find comfort in him watching over us, like he always has.
We love you, Ramsey.
