Nicholas Duarte Obituary

Our Beautiful Beloved Son, Nicholas Angel Duarte was born on January 5, 1996 in Santa Ana, California.  We were so honored to be Nicholas’s forever family.   he was placed in our home at the age of five and by the age of seven his adoption was finalized. Nicholas was a very shy and timid young boy, (like a rose or rose bud) he was closed off.  But slowly with time, patience, and a lot of love he blossomed into a beautiful Soul. A young man, with a smile from ear to ear, and those dimples, oh wow!!! The young girls would come and watch him play little league because they had a crush on Nick!!!! I said “no dating until he is 18 years old”. Nick had a unique personality, and there was never a dull moment when he was around, Nick was a very happy person and always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed the simple things in life and was very adventurous, he loved being outdoors. Nicholas attended St. Michael the Archangel Academy and had hopes of going to college when he felt he was ready. He showed an interest in several career choices, but bounty hunting was what he really wanted to.

At the age of six Nicholas became an Altar Server at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church for the Sunday 9:30 am Mass. And he continued serving Our Lord right up until the last day that Our Lord called him home to heaven. Which was Sunday, January 28, 2018 he had served in the Mass carrying in the Cross and helping as an Altar Server.

The sudden tragedy of losing Nicholas has been a tragic loss to our entire family. We ask for your continued prayers for our family.

Duarte and Patricia Gomez Duarte and his six sisters, and one brother-in-law, Natalie Tawnie Duarte Zamora, married to Lorenzo Zamora, Victoria, Jasmine, Rebecca, Erica and Julianna and two brothers, Freddy, and Joseph Duarte, And his grandparents Luis Luna Gomez, Helen Barbara Gomez (deceased), Federico S.
